After you create video ringtones with one of the above PC applications, you can transfer them to your iPhone using iTunes. Select one of the apps in the iTunes App Store, download it and install it on your iPhone. Apps such as Free Ringtone Maker, My iTones and Videos Tone enable you to set videos as ringtones on your iPhone. Before you can use videos as ringtones on your iPhone, you must install a third-party app.Click the "Convert to iPhone" button, and then wait a few minutes for the Miro Video Converter application to covert the video and save it in the "Miro Video Converter" folder in the "Videos" library. Click and hold the desired video file, and then drag it to the Miro Video Converter window.Ĭlick the "Apple" drop-down list, and then select "iPhone," "iPhone 4" or "iPhone 5" depending on your version of iOS. Open the folder that contains the video you want to convert for use as a ringtone on your iPhone. Use your mouse to drag the Miro Video Converter to the side of your display screen, and then press "Windows-E" to open File Explorer. Accept the license agreement, and then follow the remaining on-screen instructions to install the conversion program. Press "Window-E," click "Downloads" in the File Explorer navigation pane and then double-click the Miro Video Converter setup file. Download the latest version of Miro Video Converter and save it to your computer. Navigate to the Miro Video Converter website (link in Resources). Click the "Convert" button to convert the selected section of the original clip and save it as an MP4 file compatible with the iPhone. Enter a descriptive name for the new video ringtone. Enable the "Output Segments as a Whole One" option, and then click "Apply."Ĭlick the "Convert" button on the toolbar, and then select a folder in which to save the new iPhone video ringtone file. Highlight the video file name, and then click "Open."Ĭlick the "Profile" button, and then select "iPhone."
